Once again. Why?

Why are valiants STILL being lumped in with paragon players? This new essentia event will last long enough to include elder players with paragon also.
This makes absolutely no sense. What's the point of progression anymore outside of earning to privilege to spend more money?

Because Kabam sees Paragons as trash players that aren't good enough to reach valiant but still willing to drop $500+ on every sale.

It just makes it even worse when you remember once again that Kabam has literally given the Paragon title away. So while the rest of us went out and earned our titles through content, and will do it once again in a couple weeks, Paragon gets handed out to players that don't do much of anything and they get to enjoy our rewards too. Good thing we've only been complaining about this for like 2.5 years.

Kabam hypes the new progression title requirements & challenges; but fails to provide perks of it.

Paragon crystal was introduced around 6 months before Valiant title, Valiants were getting "paragon crystal shards" through a weekly calendar (then it got removed), valiant crystal was introduced in 2025 iirc & so on.

Valiant-gated selector type rewards are still very limited (the most recent one was 7-star mystic nexus crystal from the goblin event). In some areas Valiants are still "lumped in" with Thronebreakers
