It’s fall of 2028 and you just hit ascension lvl 8 on your 7* Mystique (lol)…. Kabam announces 8* champs are launching (it’s inevitable)… what about them could be worth staying for and even potentially being excited about?
Few things that come to mind:
- besides the new star level ability, (which better be a REALLY good one), each 8* champ gets a unique additional (and reasonable) small ability added to their kit. Something that fits with and just slightly adds to what they already do.
- 8* champs get a completely new skin for that star level
I don’t wanna do this again with another ⭐️added on.
Most of the characters have multiple looks, so let’s tap into that and make crystal openings something to look forward to again.

7* launch was done really well. After this 11 levels of ascension bridge, the 8* launch will need to be amazing in order to not lose a crippling amount of players
