Jean grey’s force field is supposed to reduce all damage take by 90% and the rest is absorbed by the force field. So you should never be able to lose more than 1% health while still having the first force field. It is also supposed stop all physical thorns damage, but when i fight attuma his physical thorns is still dealt to jean grey and even ignores the force fields damage reduction so you can lose more than that 1% health without losing your force field. And this has been a thing for a while now and i hate it. And if this isn’t a bug, then its false advertising.

Okay hear me out on this because I dont think it's a bug or false advertising. I think it's just a case of a funny mcoc interaction but we'll most certainly need crashed to weigh in.

I did a bunch of testing and reading after seeing this post and with any star level of jean practicing against my attuma I take exactly 131 damage which is 10% of his thorn damage

This is in line with Jeans forcefield ability to where it absorbs 90% of damage taken.

But this where it gets interesting because Jean's ability states that she takes no damage from physical thorns. Knowing kabam this almost definitely translates to 100% AAR against thorns.

This is more interesting because Attuma has an ability that states all AAR effects are reversed against him meaning that 100% reduction should be +100% potency therefore meaning his thorns have around a 25% + 100% chance to deal damage to jean (~32%?) In which her force field will absorb 90% of that damage
