Mutant Gem Dilemma

Okay, I can usually come to a decision, but I'm stumped. I have a Mutant Gem, and I got Kitty from the Double Track. However, after waiting some time, I finally got a 7* version of Onslaught.
Part of me wants to use it on Kitty because she's rare, but the other part of me wants to use it on Onslaught and take him up now.

Any suggestions?

Unless you're chasing prestige, I'd go Kitty first for sure.
