Aren't we supposed to be streamlining and reducing the amount of currency ingame? and now we have a new currency... Seems to be counterproductive adding the same things you just took away to make things "cleaner"...

It's the same thing as earning for any chase champion. It is not really a currency because it only gets you one thing.

Definitely understand the potential irony there but yea, as other folks have said its not quite a currency, but also it was the only way for us to manage giving away a champ like this through drops
