this one specifically - Jamming into the 3 day window is absolutely atrocious. It’s the huge complaint with the mode and the time restriction. Kabam’s like “screw it, let’s just set the forums on fire when a bunch of people can’t get it because life shows up”

Just create a one-person alliance for yourself so you can get the solo milestones for the alliance coliseum events. That's what my friend does.

Just make your own alliance and complete the solo objective there. What Kabam should STOP doing is adding pieces to BGs. If you're like me and you haven't played the past 2 seasons, you deranked and now have to waste your time climbing back up.

If they so desperately want to get more engagement for BGs they can just make the piece require "complete X amount of matches."

You can get to GC using shields. Clearly it takes 0 skill. Kabam keeps putting pieces there though because they know the game mode is dead and garbage, but they want some engagement.

People seem to be forgetting that that's the whole point of the chase, everyone has to do stuff they don't necessarily want to do. It's supposed to be fun but also annoying at times, and it's supposed to be challenging. Thanos is arguably the best cosmic in the entire game, if they do the exact same with SF Doom then how can y'all expect the chase to be easy or purely with solo content any average player can do? Makes absolutely no sense, if that's what some of you expected then this chase is not for you, simple as that.

And I know you can submit a ticket, but I'm not sure how deep into the event you have to get to qualify. So there's still a clear issue.

Yeah, it just seems especially unfair when you only have a 3-day window to get the piece, and other players (your ally leadership) could stop you from getting the piece by kicking you.

For every other way to get pieces, you're given a month-long window, and you have 100% control over it.

I have no problem refuting this lol. It's fine to have the chase include content that some people won't want to do. But for that content to have a time limit of only 3 days and have the risk of another player (alliance leadership) sabotaging it for you by kicking you is just unfair.

Every other piece has a month-long window, some people have trips planned, could get really sick, or have to work overtime. Only giving someone 3 days for a grindy event just aint right.

And if you're in a high tier ally, you could easily be kicked for dying too much, and if you're kicked before you can get enough points to get the piece, or you're kicked right before the event, you miss out.

I won’t argue the length part cause I do think alliance coliseum should be extended to five days, for your second point however you can literally just create a burner alliance and do it pretty easily. That’s what I would do if I hated doing alliance stuff, it’s really not a big deal.

As for the time consuming part, normally I’d agree but I go to college and I work five days a week. Not sure how busy you’d have to be to not have time for the game at all but if you really are that busy then unfortunately either you make time for it or pay with units eventually. They can’t stop doing something just because a small part of the playerbase is too busy doing other stuff, there’s always gonna be some collateral with this sort of thing.
