I got screwed by Thursday livestream and new twitch drops

I have watched each livestream online for more than a year and got all twitch drops till now.
There was always a grace period to watch some other channels to get all rewards. But I did not need that because I made my plans in a way that I can turn on the stream on Friday when it begins.
I do not remember if any livestream was at another day except Friday.

And now, today, the livestream occurred on Thursday and it has these special drops during the stream.
What the...?? Why this time?? Why couldn't you arrange these special twitch drops on a livestream that occurs on Friday?
Of course, there is nobody except me to blame as I did not read the announcement in Discord. I have life, I have work, I do not have much time to catch every post.
But I literally did not expect the livestream to occur at another day! And especially that you will put special livestream drops on it!

I enabled livestream at 20:03 CEST and figured out I am not getting the final reward, which is I even don't know what, but any ascension stuff now feels incredibly needed.
But I am not getting even reward for 45 miniutes watching because stream ended 20 minutes before end time for twitch drops.

Since when do they not allow you to continue via other streamers. I watched the entire stream through the community channels and didn't realize there was one specifically on their channel. So even worse, I did watch it all and didn't get it.

Yeah, I am agreeing with you. My point was that nobody going onto Twitch would assume they had exclusive drops. This is the type of obvious confusion that frustrates people about Kabam. They should leave no room for confusion. Not everything should require in depth research to figure out

I’m in the same boat. Watched the whole stream and it says 83% for last milestone. Doesnt make any sense. i saw thar the counter stopped moving. So refreshed the stream but it was too late. Still couldnt finish it. Kabam needs to stop doing 2 hour expiration. Twitch issues happen and we have to pay for it even though we spend time to watch their streams. Kinda getting fed up with this game.

I don't know if there was any in-game message. I was not in game at this time.
But previously when I played and watched livestreams, such in-game messages showed up to me after stream ended or almost at the end of the stream.

I literally found out there was a livestream only because someone dropped a screenshot into a Line chat.

if you are going to change the day there needs to be some communication on the topic. I don't ever recall seeing an in game message or anything anywhere that was happening today.

I'd be less pissed off if I was allowed to collect the rewards from watching another streamer or if they did a replay of the livestream for those that missed it for the change in day.

They made a discord announcement. But, as I wrote in the post, I missed this announcement.

But I strongly agree that as the day is changed and special drops were added, they should have communicated about it via multiple ways.

And a little off-top which I realised right now. Where were all content creators? Why we need content creators if they don't help community to reach the livestream with special rewards?

The stream froze for me when he said "we're having technical difficulties." for a long time. I switched to a different steamer because it said "drops on". Went back to the kabam stream once it unfroze. Now I'm 6 minutes and 20 minutes short for the last 2 rewards even though I watched the entire thing...

I am in agreement with above, I missed half of the rewards, mainly because I didn't notice the post made yesterday and there was no in game message about stream schedule.

And missed one reward as well because stream ended before rewards timer.

Hey folks! So a couple things coming together here:

First, Thursday stream. We've occasionally done streams on days besides Friday when we can't do a Friday stream, most often Wednesday, but because Wednesday was April Fools and Friday is a Holiday in Canada we only really had one day that we could do the stream on.

As for the exclusive drops, this is the start of our new twitch drop plan that we've mentioned and teased in previous streams. Going forward we will have an exclusive set of drops just for those who watch us, on the Kabam channel, live. However we will also have week long drops that anyone can stream with starting right around the time our stream ends and running for a week. These are supe'd up versions of the overall drops we had before, so on a stream week its just more rewards overall no matter if you tune in or not, but especially if you do tune in.
For the rest of the month there will be week long drops and then we start the process again next month with our livestream. Those rewards will be slightly less juicy (but still more than the old rewards before now) as they are a standard month, but once we get back around to the start of a new saga in a couple months we get those juiced up rewards again. We want to make this as predictable and consistent as possible, know that how it works might be a bit of a surprise/confusing to start, but hopefully it will make sense as we go. Again, as we've said before that change was forced on us. We are working to try and get things back to as close to before as we can, but there have been a lot of delays on that that are hopefully going away soon.

I am sorry but I don't get it, he posted in a forum post yesterday afternoon informing that stream will be today morning. That alone shouldn't be happening.

No in game message about the stream schedule , stream ended before the reward timer and response is to don't worry you will have more chances in the future.

And what about for those of us that actually watched the entire stream but didn't hit all the milestones because of your technical difficulties that karate Mike even said we're happening during the stream? It's not my fault. I was there from the beginning until the end...

Unfortunately that's a Twitch issue, we have no control over them counting progress. Best practice is to have a tab with your inventory page open and to check to make sure you're getting progress by refreshing occasionally. The drops did work as intended, folks got all the rewards from watching and we had almost double the required watch time available. I know that's not gonna make it feel better but it is simply the truth and all I can say.

Does it suck to miss out? Yes; but you also gotta put on your big boy pants and tell yourself "Oh well I missed it cause life got in the way". Otherwise there is a much easier solution, just scrap the drops all together and nobody gets anything due to people's immaturity.
