7* Toad - Slime Tokens

So I just logged to find out that I am 1 Slime Token off to get 7* Toad - I looked at the only data I could find and that its possible to trade them until 22nd April so I thought that is the time frame we will be able to earn those Slime Tokens. They just replaced them with Chavez Tokens and I cant get more of the Slime Tokens anywhere even If I would pay money. I missed few of the daily objectives but almost 3 months farming and because I am missing 1 I am not able to get it? That is beyond me. Could you please add like 5 of the slime tokens for mysterium/essentia/radiance or whatever?

I am in exactly the same boat. 79 slime tokens and I went in this afternoon, thinking I would get #80….and nope. I know, I know, I missed the Daily too many times. But I would totally be on board for shelling out some resources or even a couple bucks to buy just one token.

Same here and stuck at 79 tokens. Feels unfair. There should have been a way to get more slime till the time of redemption. Didn't get any reminders of ensuring 80 tokens by x day. Not any news about the token change in daily quests as well.

Likewise I have 79 tokens and 1 away from the 7* toad …even though there are 2 weeks left in event!

same here, log on needed 3 tokens and 13 days left, and am willing to dish out a couple bucks or even trade with other currencies, but nope, I don’t even want the champ I just want the 2-3 gem. And now no way to earn the last 3, thanks kabam

Same here, also at 79. Didn't see any reminder and was looking at event timer that says still 2 weeks left. So was thinking I have enough time left.

Same for me, at 77, and thought I had 2 weeks left due to that countdown timer. Poor communication by kabam, considering how often they send worthless emails, a few in game messages mentioning that we only had a certain number of days left to get the toad tokens would’ve been great. Actually missing out on a champ that I would’ve liked to have, and have been working towards for months, is incredibly demotivating for me to even participate in any long term events like this in the future.

I bought the 7-star Toad last week and have 10 Toad Tokens left over now. I think I only missed 1 day. So it seems like there were 91 total tokens available for f2p players. If you're short, then you missed at least 12 days.

What does the OP mean about replacing them with Chavez tokens? I don't see any Chavez tokens in the daily super event.

Yeah this is pretty wild that so many people are at the exact same amount - I know I missed a quite a few days cause I was in the hospital but to see everyone specifically at 79 is pretty funny (read: unfortunate for anyone involved)

Seems like easy money for Kabam if they wanted to throw some Slime Tokens by themselves on the webstore if they wanted to. I have the feeling/fear they won't tho - especially if it's not already up there, cause then you could get people saying "I was ONE token short so I traded them all in for 7* shards and then 2 days later Kabam added tokens to the store for purchase!" It would be a nightmare for them.

I have 76, im so mad, been spending money hoping to get him, no warning you lose opportunity to earn them. This is complete BS, at least give us a warning, I would've spent more to finish up.

It's a poorly designed system, with the ability to earn tokens ending before the timer to purchase him. The 'chase' itself ends, and then you have 2 weeks still to purchase him, as indicated by the timer. But there has been 'a warning.' it was communicated when the saga would end since it started, and we've had information on this new saga, which began today, since at least the livestream. It wouldn't make any sense that you'd still be earning Slime tokens for an old saga today when it's the start of a new saga.

LLooks Like I am missing out on the deadlift champs unless I am able to find a viable WIFI or purchase a new data pack as I uninstalled the game after it got stuck on the loading screen and wouldn't proceed further and so I unistalled it thinking to reinstall it as I though perhaps the new update download was bugged completely forgetting the game is 3 gb in size and I have opted for a 2gb data daily pack. Kabammed 😆

i'm 76, got a few days off but i also agree. Who could have expected it to be ended so early, different from the given actual ending date

The ending date always matched the saga date of April 8th. Clearly communicated since the beginning of the chase in the in-game message. The redemption timer extends two weeks for a couple reasons. First, what happens if you earn your last token the day it ends? You won't be able to buy him in time. Two, you get all the tokens, but you forget to grab him before earning the tokens ends. Now you're screwed because they didn't have a grace period for the purchase.

I get the frustration over missing out, but the frustration is misdirected. They gave 11 extra tokens for free and made additional ones available for purchase. If you didn't make it to 80, then you missed a minimum of 12 days worth of SDE to get him for free. They communicated the end date from the beginning and everyone got said communication in-game, during the stream, and on their socials. You can't actually pretend that this is Kabam's fault just because they make sure players have enough time to make a purchase after an event ends. That's how it works for nearly eve

You can trade in excess Toad/Slime tokens for 7* shards.

in same Mysterium store (just further down) as the trade in of ALL of our milestone point Goblin Hands (NOT just excess Hands above 2000, although those are only for 2* crystals or Gold)

I'm In same boat. I have 78x tokens. Literally debated buying last 2 from weekly offer. Would have purchased there and then, if I knew it would suddenly end. Sign in today and offer changed, no way to get tokens. Lack of communication over deadline for this event is terrible. 2/3 months of doing daily all for nothing. At least make some way of purchasing the tokens until 22nd which many thought was the end of the event.

I also got messed around when I had 1x BG match to complete for 10k Radiance and for the last hour kabam decided to have BG "Find match" greyed out, so I couldn't complete objective.

I have been a player for 11+ years and to be messed around twice in 1 month is very demotivating. I understand why a lot of players are leaving the game. I sent a ticket about BG and they just palmed it off. I arranged my time after work to finish the milestone and couldn't because of a game fault.

It's because of keyboard gangsters like yourself that the greater communication issues and good for the community don't get solved. If you have nothing useful to contribute, then don't contribute.

There's clearly quite a few players stating they would have liked better communication for the slime tokens event and the sudden ending. I would have happily purchased the last 2 tokens from store if I knew. We all understand if nothing can be done this time around. However, If the communication is improved in future for long events, it will help the entire player base.
