Just different pool. As the names suggests wave 1 and wave 2.

Wave 2 crystals contain relics where one of the rune combinations could be either physical or energy penetration. A lot of the good defensive relics are in wave 2.

I bookmarked a post that @JediJones77 made listings which ones are in each pool currently.

Not sure how helpful it is if you are trying to cross-check which you have and need, but maybe if looking for something specific..

That list is just a bunch of word vomit and doesn't really help you understand literally anything.

I do wish Kabam had a good list - even their own website gave up after that Statcast wave 1 and doesn't include any of the Wave 2: https://playcontestofchampions.com/academy/relics/
