Weird Defenders in this month's EQ?
Has anyone else noticed that a few of the paths in this month's EQ have some really difficult fights? By difficult i mean defenders who can straight up ignore the class nodes.
In the cosmic chapter, one of the first fights is against Colossus--who can't be armor broken except by tech champs. And whats the path node? A cosmic class node that requires armor break (in the classic EQ, Colossus is even part of the EASY path apparently--are you kidding me?)
In the science chapter there are a couple skill attackers who can straight up shrug off debuffs, like Elsa Blood stone. Whats the path node? A science class node that requires stacking debuffs.
Now I am in the tech chapter, and this one is loaded with annoying defenders. This path has a tech class node that gives you fury on power drain, with additional power drain when you parry with an armor up effect. First there was knull--not immune to power drain, but he converts all armor up buffs into abyss (even on parry, which is what the class node requires). Then there is karolina dean--immune to some forms of power manipulation, and she can burn armor up buffs off you (the champ who prompted me to make this poster). And lastly, there is a Hulkling later down the path--no armor up destruction, but Hulkling is power manipulation immune.
Of course, with all of these fights there are ways to get around these defenders but... am i the only one who thought this was a weird choice? What is the point of putting defenders on the path that straight up ignore the nodes? Especially with the frequency this month. Was this an intentional choice or maybe some sort of mistake?
