No Toad tokens will be added! The saga is over. Should've been more active.
It's supposed to be end on 22nd April right?
The store is. The getting of tokens ended already as stated multiple
The tokens ended on April 8. You can exchange the tokens before April 22.
Looks like you missed more than 11 days, which was the grace period.
are they going to sell more tokens for folks that didn’t interpret the event ending sooner than it should have?
No
There was nothing to interpret as it was clearly communicated that the saga would end on the 8th and with it the chase. Just because players misunderstood or didn't pay attention doesn't mean the setup required players to interpret a mystery.
Hard NO!
Why not? Kabam, what would it cost you to add Toad token offers for a few more days? That way, you'd also increase your profits...
Because then what do you do for everyone who already traded in all their excess Toad tokens ? Go back and reverse their excess trade-in's, after being told that is the only thing to use them on ?
Could the timing or communication maybe have been a little better (probably). Not sure how often they had done this thru Daily Super (maybe one other ?) versus some calendar, etc, where you could better see an ending date.
As to still being able to spend them for longer after earning them ended, that's typical, and gives some time for people to not have to potentially spend on that exact last day (but maybe has been just an extra week instead of 2 ??)
I misread the end date to acquire the tokens as well. I cashed all 69 Toad tokens in today for 7 star shards. I just pulled a 7 star Bastian, so I'm good.
@SummonerNR but they don't have to offer the tokens, but rather put them up for offers. Those who have already purchased Toad won't be interested in the offers, as will those who haven't yet had it and are willing to spend. That's why I said they'd get it this way...after all, there are 10 days left, and it wouldn't make any difference to Kabam to offer paid items, since apparently there are interested parties out there anyway!
What do they say at the grocery store when you go in with last week's ad and ask them to just put the item you want back on sale?
The promotion is expired. It doesn't matter what it would cost them, the offer doesn't exist anymore and you can't get it.
Aside from the fact that the offers you mention are for a lower price than normal? I'm actually looking for the product and I'm willing to pay for it, I'm not looking for a discount! I'd say they're two different things.
