Why Can't I Log In? Help!

My device is a Samsung S9.
I should be able to log-in.
The App Store let me download the Update AND it just has me waiting on the LOADING SCREEN - indefinitely.
I tried uninstalling/reinstalling the game to no-avail...didn't work.

Any tips and tricks are appreciated...
