GOOGLE PLAY LOG IN ISSUES & CURRENT WORKAROUND
Greetings Summoners,
The Team is aware that some players are unable to sign out of their accounts due to an interaction with Google Play.
The Team is working on a permanent fix for this issue. In the meantime, we've come up with a workaround -
Work Around Steps Number 1
- Open Google Play
- Tap your portrait in the top right corner
- Scroll down, open Settings
- Tap 'General' (this is a drop down menu)
- Tap 'Play Games Profile'
- Tap 'Sign In Account, Default account for games'
- Tap 'Change' next to MCOC
- Select 'Sign Out'
- Tap 'Save'
As long as you remain signed out of Google (tap Cancel each time the prompt appears), the account will be unlocked from Google and you can switch between Kabam IDs freely.
Work Around Steps Number 2
If this does not work, we also found a workaround utilizing Google Play Games -
- Click Profile at the bottom right of Google Play Games
- Click the Three Dots in the top right -> Settings
- Scroll down to 'Your data'
- Click 'Change account for games'
- Tap 'Change' next to "MCOC"
- Tap 'Sign Out'
We hope this helps alleviate some of the ongoing issues with Google Play, and are working to get a permanent fix for this issue as soon as possible.
