monthly eq and elder

I found out that the monthly story quest can be completed on the new “Elder” difficulty. I’ve almost earned that title and will have it in 1–2 days. But, as usual, I completed the monthly quest right away as soon as it was released. I had no way of knowing that I shouldn’t complete it and should wait for the new title. Now I’m at a disadvantage because I completed content right after its release. It seems a bit unfair. Or, once I receive the new progression title, will I have the opportunity to complete the monthly quest again?
maybe it’s my fault but… who else stuck with this situation?

Elder difficulty hasn't released yet. Next month. It can show you as elder progression, but it is still Valiant content.

Idk about OP, but I got Eleder difficulty and there is not a tab in EQ allowing you to change the difficulty setting to Elder (big change in rewards). However, I already explored EQ, so I'll have to wait until next month.

Different but related question:

Has Kabam changed the defenders? I remember facing Hulkling with a tech team and Nimrod in the mutant team but now it seems to have changed.

THe option to select an easier difficulty comes next month. This month is the standard normal and elder difficulty. You have to finish one completion of normal to unlock elder, and the elder eq difficulty doesn't have anything to do with the new "elder" title.

Next month though, the "elder" title people will have perks in monthly EQ. No clue what they will call that new difficulty though.

Well, I don't know why many people do EQ ASAP.
During the month your prestige grows.
I do EQ the last week before it ends, to get higher rewards. Typically, it is a decent difference in rewards. Not awesome, but meaningful.

If you did it before got Elder - well, that was your choice, right?

Im kinda with OP on this. We were explicitly told it wouldn't go live until may so if it's in the game now that's a big problem

If it is live (which it isn't) it's pathetic. I am guessing that it is a bug with the general coding. You go up a progression, things gets a slight bump.

The new Elder difficulty is now live. When you go to reward milestones, you can adjust the level of difficulty by changing your progression title or prestige rating. Those who have gotten Elder can now switch over to the new progression title which updates the rewards.

I cant personally tell since I ran eq already but I can see the reward diff and I agree. The only thing of note is the t5a increase

They said that about Elder DIFFICULTY. But they said nothing about Elder rewards for EQ.
New EQ system did what it was designed for. You got new progression - rewards are updated. Simple as that.

I was pretty sure about EQ elder rewards wont be available before May therefore ı completed event. Now I m elder and ı see increased reward for that. There should be adjustment or compensation.
