I probably missed it on a stream or something, but missing out on Elder EQ rewards (as I did) stings a bit when you see the added T5a shards.

There was t5a frags last month as well, I dont remember if there was an announcement. If there was I missed it. i saw the frags in the last few days before the new update. It was far less than it is this month, i think i got around 7k for 34k prestige

WWe Had t5a last month too. It was just only for people with really high prestige.

I double checked the live stream and it said the monthly MEQ would update in May. I would have held off until after my 9.4 completion to do it if the information on the stream was correct. It clearly says the changes to Adaptive EQ start 2 weeks later in May.

@Kabam (Osaurus) Rex can you have the team double check these things just to ensure the information on the slides are accurate. We go back and refer to these and it impacts on planning if it’s wrong. Not going to dwell any longer as I’ll be Elder tomorrow. Just 5 paths to go.

Obviously this isn't an ideal thing and another flop in communication, but the bigger issue would be if the rewards shown were actually Elder difficulty rewards. It would be incredibly underwhelming.

Either way, for whatever reason (almost certainly a Kabam error), rewards changed and that should've been communicated.

Yeah. This one hurts and i'm not sure "whoops" is good enough. That's a significant amount of the most valuable rank up resource in the game we missed out on because we were told the elder changes weren't happening in april.

Everybody knows how Kabam is bad at communication and how good at producing bugs and inconsistencies. And many people, knowing that, and knowing that new progression level comes this month, still rushed through EQ first day.
I am not even talking about the reasoning of doing EQ ASAP? Why? You grow your prestige during the month. It is more profitable to do EQ last week of the month, you will get slightly more rewards. +100 shards there, +200 catalyst fragments there.. But still it is more than at the beginning of the month.

I think that EQ system worked exactly how it was designed. We got new progression level, the system identified it and provides appropriate rewards.

Please, I am waiting for the post from person who bought full Platinum track and now realised there are Elder rewards in some selectors.

If the system works exactly how it was designed, then the information communicated during the livestream is wrong. If the livestream is correct then the system is wrong. One way or another this definitely shouldn't have happened.

As for joining EQ at the beginning of the month, the reasoning is actually pretty simple: We have the remaining carina challenges and an entire story chapter that we want to clear asap. The new AW season starts next week as well. I want to complete EQ as soon as possible so I can then focus on clearing the content that actually gives me meaningful rewards and takes time to prepare and clear.

I knew my prestige wouldn't increase above the next reward threshold, so there was no reason not to join EQ and get it done quickly.

A lot of people did last Carina challenge on Wednesday and by now already explored 9.4. Or almost explored by current moment. AW does not take a lot of time unless you are an officer. The longest is the preparation and champions selection. Fights are quick.
I don't see anything that may take weeks for exploring. Kabam hasn't released such content for a long time.
There is no reason pushing doing EQ ASAP. You can find these 3 hours at any time.

Wow 21k is a decent chunk! TBH the delta should be awarded to folks who completed it before elder title’s release. Clearly a miscommunication but personally I’m happy to see the bump in T5A for getting elder.

Seems like it should be relatively easy to compensate (just grab the rewards difference between status 8 and status 9 rewards for the same prestige a player is, and send it for anyone who started the quest before becoming elder… however since there are some people who started / haven't finished… I would think you would have to wait until the end of the month to calculate it correctly.

Very annoying, as just like Seatin… I'd have another R5 if I waited / would have waited if I wasn't explicitly told otherwise on the livestream.

I dont think i actually got the rewards from the Elder shift.

With a new progression level coming and i knew that i would hit the next level of prestige to get better rewards, i thought it was wise to wait to do EQ, especially if you know you are going to go to that next level to wait until you are at the next level to start it like how you would wait to go in if tou know you can reach that next prestige level shortly….it only takes a few of hours now to clear the EQ now with the improvements over the last few months, so it shouldn't be that difficult and take as long as it used to.

They literally said on the livestream that Elder rewards for EQ would not go live until May, which is when the new EQ would come (and April EQ would be ending early to accommodate this).

So are you saying people should've treated the livestream information from Kabam as incorrect based on personal preference?
