Primordial Dust expiry

Does anyone else have this problem? I now have dust in overflow and no way to use it (aside from ascending 6*). All ascended champs from Greater Empowered Crystals (GECs) come preascended. How are we going to get the champion tokens to be able to use this dust and class tokens? Just spend thousands of units and hope I pull multiple duplicates (from the very rare GECs)?

I have the same issue. Over the cap now, no combination of champ / class tokens to enable me to actually use the dust.

I wouldn’t care except that dust was a significant chunk of the 9.4 and Carinas rewards. If it’s so valuable, give us a mechanism to use it on seven star champs. And the answer can’t be, just drop 36,000 units on valiant mercy crystals…

I agree it’s a terrible reward right now. the dust is really for people spending money. Just let it expire or burn it on 6* you’ll never use. Hopefully a year from now the rest of us will actually be able to actually use it.

Yeah it's pretty absurd. Especially since Kabam seems to value the T2 Dust as an 'expensive' and 'rare' item - if you go off of the currency stores, it's 8,525 Radiance for only 250 Dust (with the scaling radiance if you max it out). And with that restriction you're only allowed to get that 250 every 35-ish days. As for the Essentia store, it's 1,360 essentia for 100 Dust, which is the max you're allowed to get each week, making it a slower crawl to accrue dust.

With those metrics, they obviously view the dust as a high tier reward, but with releasing Carina's Challenges AND Act 9.4 in tandem - we're being given SO much dust in a burst, with not much at the moment to actually be able to spend them on.

I mean, for example I could be taking my Lizard up to Ascension lvl 2, but with how scarce these RNG class tokens are, I still don't have close to the 10 required to take him up, so I can't even use the 500 dust on him until I get those tokens that are not readily available in content.

If you have the Dust and the Gold, I consider it a waste to let it expire more than it's a waste to use on 6*s.

Use it on any 6* that you don’t have as 7*. This will benefit you when the collectives mechanic launches next month. I had about 1000 expiring, and this is what I did to use it up.

Comparing to before, your Inventory used to hold enough (either T1 or T2) for 2x champs (5* and/or 6*).

At least with the 7* Ascension availability, you can hold 5x champs worth (for Ascension Level 2) at 500 Dust each for that level. (=2500)

The initial DUMP of a lot of Dust now would at least let those that DO HAVE enough of the Dups for Level 2 or even beyond, from the start here, to do many of them now.

But for those that do not yet have any Dup's ready to do Asc.Level 2 yet, you'd at least have 5x worth of Dust saved up and ready to go in Inventory.

And by the time you start accumulating even more (and/or Dup'ing in sufficient quantity for even higher like Asc.Level 3, etc.), who's to say that the flow of Dust will not be keeping up with the slow pace that you are even getting enough Ascended Dup. Champs to be able to use it on by then.

It's not like 6* (or even 5* before that) where it was possible to apply dust to EVERYONE new you were getting all the time. The 7* Ascended level champs themselves would be a much slower drip.

I'd bet that enough Dust will be available naturally to fulfill the slow rate of getting the available ascendable champs themselves (w/ their necessary multiple dups).

Im still concerned I still wont be able to use it by the time it expires after being forced back into my inventory. Gonna trust that kabam thought out that timeline (😬) and is going to be giving us a way to use it. Here's hoping.
