Stellar forged starlord item selector is bugged

I have been putting off getting stellar forged Starlord until now and I thought I was only missing 2 pieces for the champion in the selector it showed that I needed to buy 3 pieces. I spent my units 7500 on the pieces. And it turns out I only needed to buy the 2 pieces and now I have an extra piece and the selector still tells me upon previewing it that I still need that piece. Now i'm out 2500 units on something I cant use or get back. Is there no way to convert my piece back into units or am I just stuck with this. Thanks if anyone can help.
