Since the rocky launch of Essentia, I feel Kabam has done a great job correcting the ship, for the most part. A few conversion issues to address but mostly everything looks good. Legacy items in the mysterium store at greater quantities was a welcome change.
However, in the spirit of pleasing the communit and trying to do the right thing, I feel like there was an oversight.
Previously you could buy 5☆ shards in decent quantity from the (I think) glory store. Perhaps another store, but there were a few reliable places to get SHARDS, which you could then put towards the featured crystal.
Since the changes, all 5☆s now come in the form of fully formed crystals, which, i mean great, now we can just pick up 5☆s and work on those sigs easier. But at the same time, it has cutoff our access to the 5☆ featured crystal. As an Valiant/Elder, I understand that to most there is no practical use for lower rarity champs, but for we collectors out there we still aim to get every champ at every rarity maxed out.
I'd love for a way to break down my crystals so I can get shards towards featured, or some other way to obtain shards. Maybe there is and im missing it. But as far as I can tell, the only path to a new 5☆ is to grind featured arena which is a MASSIVE time commitment, or to wait foe them to enter the enormous basic pool.
Anyone else have this sentiment?
