collectives... clarfications/questions

After watching the live stream, I think I have tons of questions where details didn't seem to get addressed.

In the army of zemo example... do you only get points for the 7 star captain, or does having each of the lower star zemos ranked contribute additional points?
If not, When someone opens a new 7 star champion (rank one, level one, not awakened), would the summoner actually net lose points because the 6 star maxed out Zemo would not be counted anymore, and until the 7 start got ranked up a bit, it would contribute fewer points?
In pvp modes (e.g. bgs, arena), would defenders get bonuses from collectives?

For question #2, 6* caps at 830 points and the 7* starts at 1,000, so it's a gain no matter the scenario

You only get Collectives points for your top scoring rarity of each champion, and it's set up so that you can never go backwards.

And yes, Collectives will apply bonuses to defenders.

Does leveling or maxing lower rarities (non-captains) offer any benefit? Is there incentive or reward to ranking up or maxing out lower rarities?

If you put two accounts side by side, one account every champ 1☆-6☆ Rank 1, Level 1, but with every 7☆...will they get the same benefit as an account with the same roster of champions but that has every 1☆-6☆ max rank, level, and sig

I KNOW only the 7☆(or whatever highest iteration of the champ) is designated captain and gets the benefit.

Im saying how or is that benefit adjusted based on the strength of the subordinates?

Question - if you use a lower star champ in the collective do you get bonus points.

Example 6 star maxed serpent for AQ while using a 7 star version for AW? Would both benefit from collective system?
