RNG only like 3 years later….

So the regular battle cast relics I don’t believe have had much choice. Single crystal, you get what you get. I’d like to see a nexus where you at least get three choices. 5 choices would be preferable.

I’ve personally played diligently and am already an “ELDER”, and I still can’t pull bpcw relic to save my life. It’s driving me nuts at this point lol. Please, Kabam….give us a nexus to purchase for in game and real world means. PLEASE

Yeah as an elder player I do not get remotely excited when I see a 7* statcast nexus. I genuinely would trade it in for just a normal 6* battlecast crystal. I have a r5 Kushala and I'm still running a 5* scarlet witch relic.

@Suckmysigma inguess you can say that if you want. I can tell you though that my r5 venom relic had my r3 venom killing ws in 30 seconds. No joke. 30 seconds from a r3 champ. That particular relic is GOATED

I like statcast relics when they fill a need that a champion has. Someone has truly abysmal crit chance? Give them a crit-focused statcast and things have immediately improved. The more defensive-focused statcasts are generally not as much fun, but I did put the Heimdall relic on Cull in order to bump up his lower-than-you-want block proficiency. I'm happy with that.

That being said, I do tend to view battlecasts as the offensive relics and statcasts, on the whole, as more defensive-leaning. If a statcast gives its champion increased physical resistance and armor, I'm much more likely to put it on a defender in order to make my BG opponent's life that much harder.

As for the topic of this thread, I also wouldn't mind some greater agency when it comes to battlecast relics. I'm currently only missing one and it would be great if I could target that one better rather than just relying on chance. After all, relying on chance is exactly why I don't have it yet. While I certainly wouldn't mind seeing nexus crystals, I could also see dual relic crystals being a thing. Bump up the relic shard cost to whatever level is appropriate, but please allow me to target the ones that I want a bit more.
