A question for the story team

Hi! Sorry if this isn't the right pathway, but I had a lore question / feedback!

Firstly, I absolutely LOVED Act 9.4! What a fantastic way to end the story of Act 9, loved it, cant wait for act 10!

I am curious though.

How do we, the summoner, actually appear to the battlerealms inhabitants? Because according to the trailers prior, the summoner *appears* to be someone in a space suit throwing crystals. But then, the chronoserpent says (paraphrasing) "they choose to not break the multiversal veil, and get others to represent them" implying the summoner is not actually present to the others and is using champions in their stead. I guess it's always been a burning curiosity of mine.

How does the summoner appear to Carina and the others? Are they a person? A design that is dependent on each player? Or are they just some other hero in the battlerealm, whoever we send in to the fight, and if so, how do they know that hero is US, and not some other random hero in the battlerealm?

Obviously we still don't really know WHAT the summoner is, and never will. Im just curious how they appear to Carina and the others

Anyways, thats all I wanted to ask and provide feedback on, thanks!

P.S.: If this ISN'T the right area to ask, where can I contact the writing team? I see them on the stream all the time but I know theyre super busy and we cant ask questions in streams so...how can I get an answer from them? Im very curious!

I remember the spacesuit as well, and hidden face behind the visor (?) so it could probably be represented by any of us players. A singular character (only 1 Summoner), but can be represented as being any of us.

The Summoner is definitely physically present in the Battlerealm. There have been instances in the monthly EQ where they are affected physically or react to attacks. There are also references to multiple Summoners running around in the Battlerealm, even Alliance War and BGs are canon to the game as a place for Summoners to fight each other.

Two most interesting things were that the Chronoserpent also used to be a Summoner, and the Summoner is now part Elder after the battle with Carina

In terms of appearance, we’re just a guy in a spacesuit. Dialogue frequently alludes to that fact, such as mentioning how our expression is unreadable because it’s obscured by the opaque helmet, and visual promotional materials (like some of the videos on the YouTube channel) just depict us as basically an astronaut. I’m pretty sure that we are just supposed to be a regular human under the suit dragged into the Contest to do battle by the Collector, and there isn’t anything intrinsically special about us, we just were/became really good at the whole Contest thing.

And yes, we never really fight ourselves, we send our collected Champions out to do battle for us. It’s treated like Pokémon Trainer rules, so even though we’re not direct combatants and theoretically our Champions are the ones doing all the work, it’s only because we’re just a good leader and great friend and all that jazz so we get credit.
