Act 9.3.6 Doom Boss Bug?

Anyone else have this issue? I didn't have issue in phase 1, but starting in phase 2 I was unable to make contact with Doom during his specials, which is the primary way to remove the charges. I burned through some revives because I thought at first it was just my bad gameplay and then I was doing testing but definitely a bug. Hopefully I can get compensation in a timely manner...I need to beat this to move on 9.4...

Dread Emperor Doom doesn't lose his charges when he doesn't have amplify on him.

In phase 2, you need to knock him down with an special attack to put amplify.

@Goodlordbird Thank you. God, I hate this game! I watched several 20+ minute fight breakdowns for this and read the boss nodes and still missed this I guess…and then I went back and checked when things weren't going right and still didn't understand. Some of these boss fights are just too confusing. I guess I will give it another try in a bit.

@Goodlordbird Ended up being much easier than expected. I used way more revives "testing" and trying to be it the wrong way than needed. Only took a handful when I went back today. Thank you very much for your comment.

I always look for mcoc noob's guide on act bosses… he does it detailed.

That boss was good design on paper, but ruined by terrible AI. I lost around 10 revives in phase 3 only when he just dashes or gets to sp3 instead of throwing his sp2

@Goodlordbird I watched Simula67 again. I caught most of what I needed to do but had missed the Amplify piece initially. Got him down all 3 times now. I am thankful for your comment triggered me to realize my mistake.
