What is the point of energy refills in the games current state?

I have the EQ 100%, doing the daily stuff does not require an energy refill. All story content is at 100% and while I refuse to play Battlegrounds, if I did play I would not need energy refills to keep playing it either.

I have about 10+ energy refills about to expire in 24 hrs, and another 20+ in the week(s) after. With Back Issues gone (and thus the best revive farm) what do you guys use your energy refills on? It feels like such a waste watching them all expire.

I either let them expire, or sell them.

Like you, I don't push BG's, so I have zero use for as many as we get.

Stocking up for coliseum,getting that done, and let the rest expire

And yet a few months ago all hell broke loose because Kabam took energy refills out of the daily crystals to replace them with more revives. I could do with more revives at the moment.

I am in no way supportive of the way Kabam has been operating over the last 12 months or more but I guess this is one example of not being able to please everyone no matter what you do.

These 3 daily quests (daily Intel, plus top 2 daily Cat's) use up full energy, before reaching top Daily Super Event every day.

So pretty much use one of the Energy Refills (we get 1 every day from said DSE), in order to quickly finish off DSE each day.

Especially when skipping a Solo Raid because doubling up on Raid Tag + Class objectives on another day.

And besides for doing other non-daily quests.
