Coliseum Gentle Grit Passive Not Applying on Parry

Using lots of tech champs. Ironheart, Jack, Yondu. Waiting out the miss timer and parrying but grit passive doesn’t always apply. Anyone else struggling with the same?

Simple answer is Kabam just don't put much care, thought or effort into thing apart from Sale.

Yep, I believe in iron heart and yondu case to be due to ability accuracy reduction from masteries applying due to the the amount of debuffs, since Im able to get the grit buff only with 5 or less debuffs on gentle.

It’s Ironheart’s kit. With five or more debuffs on the opponent, you shut down their offensive ability accuracy when you block. So, she turns off the grit node if you’re playing her correctly and building debuffs.

Try Sentinel, he cooks too.

Cat Murdoch made a comment that I forgot about, there is a nose that should prevent AAR to work against the nodes.... And that it's bugged and not working.

In theory Adamant Axiom should mean AAR doesn’t apply to the nodes, yeah - it’s been bugged for a while unfortunately, which comes up a lot when Ironheart is relevant to a challenge/boss like this.

was wondering if this was intended with Ironheart. Had to play around it and with AI it was just a nightmare. Got 1.5 mil with some left over podium upgrades I had tho so it’s whatever. If it ends up being a bug and I don’t get any podium tokens, tickets, or units back I’m gonna be ticked

Look at ares, they are changing him because some champions “bypass” his damage lock but are ignoring this one

Same thing happening for Karolina. She would be much better in this fight if the grit on parry was consistent

it’s the same issue, essentially. Seems like the adamant axiom node should protect Gentle from the ability accuracy reduction from the magnetism debuffs, but it’s not working. My Onslaught was failing the root occasionally…

Exactly this.

Presuming Adamant Axiom was supposed to prevent the AAR activation, it’s yet another bug (although the failure of falter to apply for the same reasons technically helps the attacker).

I’m going to hit the final milestone, I worked around it, and I discovered Shuri actually performed better…but I did upgrade platforms more than usual and wound up hassling with the content longer than I should have had to. Just feels like more lack of attention to detail and lack of concern for player experience and time.

I noticed this with ironheart and hulkbuster but figured I was doing something wrong, even with the axiom node.

Maybe we are missing something as Kabam knows more people than usual will be in it for the blade piece.
