Big W from kabam but the jobs not finished

Our lost loyalty is back. Kabam has actually listened to us, probably from Karate Mike advocating for us and pushing for this restitution.

But the jobs not finished. Kabam, we need to address the real problem and adjust AW potions. Make them percentage-based to be both convenient to use, and less economically straining to summoners as time progresses.

They have to play the game to actually understand the AW issue...

I mean Mike had to go tell them about Loyalty and it took them like 3 weeks to come out with a plan. I would expect better AW potions around Jan 2030

And don't give them positive reinforcement, they might actually think they are doing a good job.

Something this relatively small could have very easily not been fixed, and the complaining wouldn't ever be loud enough for it to truly negatively affect Kabam. So yes, I'm grateful they decided to be pro-player and repeal a greedy decision.

Sure, Kabam did a good thing here, but they had to do it because they did a completely avoidable bad thing in the first place. Positive reinforcement isn't helpful them not do silly things. They deserve as much praise as a child that cleaned their room after someone slipped and fell on the mess.

Substitute the child for a greedy corporation and the mess for a deliberate decision in an attempt to make more money, and you have a recipe for that child not to clean up that mess, no matter how many people slip and fall.

Kabam defied that today, which is more than I would expect from a greedy corporation. So yes, I think they deserve positive feedback for this change.

Pro player? Making things right is not pro player, its fixing something that should have not happened in the first place. The whole currency unification was and still is a complete mess with complete lack of thought.

That is a faulty analogy sir. A kid breaking something is not the same as a company making a deliberate decision in an attempt to make more money.

On one hand, a kid breaking something benefits nobody, not even the kid.

On the other hand, making more money benefits companies. So when they seemingly repeal a decision that would have made them more money, I think that deserves a little bit of a “thank you, we appreciate that.” Especially in a situation like this where the backlash was insignificant.

Your bar is way too low. Pro player would have been finding some kind of solution in the mean time. It fell right in the middle of a war season end and off season. A lot of people played off season wars cause they thought the sources of Loyalty were scarce....

So no its not a pro player move. Its just a fix that leaves a bad taste and exposes how rushed and half assed the essentia roll out was.

How is it income protection when the decision was going to make them more money and the backlash was insignificant? Just like the missing 1-2 gem from the twitch drops, they could have ignored it and nobody would have quit the game over it.
