How's mcoc in 2026

As some of you know I used to frequent the forums and be very involved with the game but for about 6ish months ive just been logging in haha. I have absolutely no idea what happens in this game i kid you not.

I don't watch livestreams, dont keep up with events, dont even have an alliance I basically just exist in the background. I think i stopped keeping up before banquet last year and just joined an alliance strictly for it and haven't cared since then.

I also recently discovered that the event quest has gone for some reason??? Weird?? Bug?? I have no idea.

Anyways I just wanted to be filled in on whats changed since my last post on here before I stopped being active.
Whats good whats bad. And most importantly, how's my baby dazzler doing meta wise in 2026 has she fallen off? Are we still riding jeans strap?

A bunch of new things do to in the game bro, and more stuff coming , i just got back to the game too , and it feels really good , way better than before , easier access to materials which is a big W ,we still have the usual bugs every month of course but still the game is really fun to play in 2026 .

currently the game is running a live test to determine exactly how many units people will pay to simply never touch the dumpster fire knows battlegrounds again.

Starting at 2,500… easily passed that threshold. Waiting to see what the next threshold is….

See the difference between us is that i didn't take a break. I've been updating and logging in on most days mainly because I wanted kitty pryde who I insta r4d have still haven't even touched.

All while ive been logging in, I've been burnt out hence why I only login and spend my mats so they don't expire. I played some eq here and there which is why jm shocked to find out its no longer there??? I checked yesterday and there was no eq for some reason.

I think i need an actual break from the game where I delete it and unsubscribe from all mcoc related content so I can actually miss the game.

I was supposed to do so after banquet then here came kitty pryde battlepass FOMO sigh...

Well Kabam have taken a new initiative

They have made all the players beta testers now. No more testing with only few players. Rather everyone gets to test the content on its release on regular basis, be it endgame or monthly quests. And they are very generous with the feedback. After the testing they fix it and sent additional rewards sometimes knows as compensation.

Truly a unique approach in gaming history. Only downside is that their internal beta testers might lose the jobs because of us the player base

I hope they roll back this initiative so players don't remain the beta testers and their employees get to keep their job. Though it was fun while it lasted

that was last month’s dumpster fire. This month, they only score defender health remaining and time. So it’s just kamakaze, big roster fun time. Don’t have a bunch of rank 5’s that can stall? Too bad for you.

and they stuck a chase item at GC … 2500 units to just buy it later and skip the mess.
