Its how much health he has that makes me think it isn't possible, he'd have to of blocked 2 Special 1s and still being at 97% health doesn't seem possible

Nah, even perfectly parrying every special Serpent throws, Torch is flimsy - I don't see him ending with that much health personally

You've done 97% hp finish against Serpent with Torch? Really? Lol everyone really gaslighting op into thinking this match is possible. Yes it is, not with that much hp left tho, definitely using damage reduction mods or something. It's either that or he's punching down two full ranks, no other explanation.

You're not going to heal back nearly 30% chip damage from a single debuff my guy, and this is assuming max despair isn't even at play here which most of the time it is because you need it at the very least unlocked to get to deep wounds which is a must have for someone competing in GC these days.

I use torch for serpent all the time. Definitely possible if you can avoid any sp2 as the sp1 doesn’t really do any damage and the fear debuff will help keep his health up.

Where the screenshots at then? Such an easy matchup yet I haven’t seen a single screenshot from the people gaslighting op. The fight lasted nearly 60 secs, a 97% hp finish is not possible even with the fear debuff constantly healing you up and the person not even running despair which if the guy is in gc then he probably did have it.
