Continued disappointment

Almost 10 years playing, but the last 2 years i slowly been playing less. And now i hardly play at all and everytime i do play its aggravation and disappointment an i log off. My main continued disappointment is garbage rng. Nothing like beating hard content all the time and not feeling rewarded! Trying to progress an keep up and constantly held back by garbage rng.
Collectives...cool, was able to get 330 crystals from this event an 3 of guarenteed crystals from solos. 330 crystal openings later an pulled 1 ascended champ smh. Open the 3 guarenteed crystals and pull the same champs! Cant even ascend them up to 2 either smh. Lots of shards! Titan crystals! Yea smh, pull frank castle for the 3 time in a row!!! 9th time out of last 13 or 14! Keep having champs i cant get from the titan that would help my roster. But nope! Stuck pulling same champs over an over and i play less an less.

I can definitely sympathise with the frustration. As the game matures it feels like the Kabam team are getting worse and worse at their jobs. More bugs than ever, AI doing stranger and stranger things with every update, now they just stop and stare at you while you whiff attacks in their face. Back end alterations to damage calculations causing champions to suffer loss in damage, bugs with champions abilities not being addressed, events dropping at the wrong time, compensation packages are basically an ongoing thing. I mean the list goes on and on.

With all this they seem to just carry on patching things up while acting like this is an acceptable solution every time. But then have absolutely no hesitation lighting up the web page and in game store like a Christmas tree asking for money. At some point you just have to shake your head and ask why? Why should I continue to feed this black hole of incompetence?

well it’s because people keep feeding this black hole of incompetence and as long as it keeps getting fed it’s going to keep dooking it out only way for them to actually care is for a mass of players to either quit spending altogether or quit playing which brings quit spending with it. Money is the only thing that seems to make anyone do anything so mess with the money then we will be heard

I see a lot of disenchanfment going on for the past couple years. Have had more players retire because the direction of the game. A few of us long timers are getting more fed up. Half the reason I'm even here is because of a couple of friends on the alliance, and I've been leader so long, the whole thing would just collapse if I and one or two others would split. It's like we feel obligated to keep everyone going.

But I honestly just can't stand the fact we feel funneled into playing only like kabam wants us to play. The shuffling of game currencies. The tweaking of events like the weekly. The limiting of types of play that qualifies for the weekly event. And the rewards just suck. With all the shuffling, AQ, the only mandatory thing we have has lackluster rewards. And if you don't do that, you're not hitting weekly milestones or you force people to play other game modes they don't care about.

And the coloseum week makes it even tougher to hit milestones.

And wtf is with all the AQ pots in the weekly? Why isn't it a selector to let us choose what game mode we need potions for? I sell 95% of them and the 5% I only use because I can, not because I need to. I could not gain any gold for a year and still have plenty in reserve after ranking who I want freely.

I just see more people retiring, and I'm at the point where I could go days without logging in if it wasn't for helping in AQ. And if that's not worthwhile, I might as well just uninstall and move on.

A few of us would spend a little here and there. But no one cares to. Not even a 5 spot here or there. I don't really use my units. Everyone just seems to sit on them. It's pretty much just save for banquet and that's about it. It's like a one trick pony.

And I love having a deep 7* roster, but getting 7's and ranking and ascending, and now collectives. I feel like they just handed it all over. I feel like I fought for all my other rarities. Had to use 5's while I built out the 6's. Had to suffer through 4's because of horrible pulls with 5's. Felt like I earned what I got. With 7's it was like instant mini roster. And now, outside of a few scatter champs, like no 7* CGR yet, I don't feel a need to even use my max ascended 6's. My CGR collects dust, sadly. I feel like I left that rarity behind so quick.

It's just all a bit meh. And I've said it many times over the years, if it wasn't for this being Marvel, this game would be in the round file by now.

I agree with everything said. I got so sick of doing AQ. Same thing over an over for years an hated it for so long, i just stopped caring about doing it. Raids were ok for awhile, until rewards seemed outdated an not worth it. Giving eidol pieces but not enough without buying more! I stopped buying anything! Spending a little just felt pointless. I have a deep roster an resources to R4 some champs. Just dont even know who i want to rank anymore. Also dont really care atm. Bgs is terrible. Im not even in an alliance anymore and dont care to be either, i have no desire to run AQ or AW anymore. AW season rewards are not worth it unless your top 5 alliance.

After doing carinas recently and act 9.4, getting all the rewards and being disappointed some more. Just kills any desire to play.
