there’s no other reason to ignore all the complaints from the CCP and the community. But it’s just not 2500. It will be 7500 because two more pieces are going to be stuck at GC and with collectives, if you aren’t a huge account, you are going to struggle mightily. BGs was at its peak when participation was high. It’s just going to keep getting worse

Usually the second lige champs (serpent r5 I don't even have him, kindred have him but no rank up, high evolutionary, nick fury..)

Ban long time champs and bring high quick dmg champs (hulking onslaught shathra etc)

Honestly I wouldn't even mind the no points for health remaining thing as much if the nodes were different. The stun immunity and protection nodes are annoying me way more than the scoring change. (Thats not to say I enjoy the scoring change or thought it was a good idea so don't downvote me into oblivion)

This match (above) is a fantastic example of how stupid this meta is. How demoralizing for this player. I cannot believe Kabam thought this was going to be well received. To go on a livestream and say hey we've heard you really don't like this new season, but theres nothing we can do, we just need to let it play out for a month. That's not Mike's fault, hes just the messenger, but there had to be people in those meeting rooms who play BGs saying this is stupid right? Either they did speak up and were ignored, or everybody thought this was a good idea. I'm not sure which is worse.

Ignored. Not slamming Mike as the messenger but to pretend this was impossible to stop is beneath all of our intelligence. And Kabam knows it….

I agree. I have never really like BG and only play to help out the alliance and hopefully get to GC by the end of the season (for the rewards) and it is just a huge grind and such a time suck. The matches are annoying. If you are unlucky in the draw you might as well give up, but then you don’t get any of the rewards so you just have to take 10-15 min out of your life to lose. This mode is just out of touch with what makes this game great. There are other ways to PvP that don’t take so long. (Think of a mini path that you place defenders). Otherwise, don’t put the chase rewards at the end of this time suck. Or change how you lose tokens so you can eventually grind out the piece. I am sure I will get there eventually as my account is huge and I play in Plat 2/3 AW, but this mode is just painful. And it not like I can’t do this mode since the chase rewards are there and if I want to stay in Plat I need to at least try to keep up.

BTW, I never really post here and was just hoping a Kabam mod or employee would see a post from an everyday player. The issue with the mode is more the time and inability to move up consistently with the token loses. Make the mode more frustrating than necessary given the rng of picking attacker and defender counters.

It wouldn't suck so much if nearly every roster wasn't nearly the same, full of the same annoying Defensive champs and their limited counters. Why does Kabam refuse to make a meta where you can bring in some variety and be successful?
