Collective ranking strategy is going to be very different from player to player.
Players with fewer 7★ champions will probably focus more on ranking up 6★ or even 5★ champions depending on their available resources.
A few important points to consider:
1. 7★ champions are the most valuable long term investment
In the end, they replace any lower tier Captain version of the same champion.
On top of that, 7★ champions can also gain an extra 200 points through Sig levels, unlike lower star versions.
2. Some champions still do not have a 7★ version In those cases, the highest Captain version is currently the 6★.
That means those champions are especially valuable to rank up to Rank 4, since they can reach 830 points.
So even if you don’t have many 7★ champions yet, it may still be very smart to invest resources into 6★ champions that currently do NOT have a 7★ version available.
How can you check if a champion has a 7★ version?
