There's 5 pieces in the radiance store and a piece in WoF, and a couple others through mail or permanent content. If you spend 125k units you've done something horribly wrong because there's only 100k units worth of pieces and you should already have a couple. So if you get the pieces available without units, your sky-high estimation is already cut in half.

Kabam employees won’t tell you this in advance. You’ll just have to wait and see what the events have. Either way, it’s not going to be cheap to catch up on all the pieces

Nobody is going to give you a heads up to maximize your units. Either you spend now and enjoy the champs, or you just hold on and hope something works out. Either way, you're going to have to spend units.
It's not 125k. If you have some of the pieces, it's less than 100k.
If you've done the permanent content (don't recommend wheel of fate) + bought the pieces from radiance store, you're halfway there.
To answer your question, nobody's going to confirm it. We can only assume that there's gonna be a Deathless champ selector (excluding DThanos) in Banquet extended milestones.
in my opinion pile up units for banquet. we are definitily seeing some deathless action there
