Ascension champ tokens

I really think Kabam needs to change how we get champ tokens for ascension. It's not fair that we have to use units for empowered crystals in hopes to pull a specific champion 3 times. And not just a regular champion but an ascended champion.

In the grace crystal they should give us champ tokens if we pull an ascendable champion in general and not just if we are lucky enough to pull the ascension version. I've pulled sandman and Zemo numerous times from the crystals, but can't ascend them because I didn't pull the "ascended" variety.

Any thoughts?

There are currently well over 100+ Empowered Crystals in Rewards each month.
This month alone, with Collectives, there have been over 300+

There are many ways to pull Ascended Champions outside of spending units on empowered Crystals, which is no different from spending units on Paragon Crystals when 7 Stars were released.

Nothing like pulling the same ascended champ over an over again. Guess it would be good if it was a top tier champ that you really like....but it never works that way.

Oh I would absolutely love to pull the same ascended champ over and over again. I'm specifically talking about having to pull the ascended version specifically in order to get champ tokens. I'm fine with the titan shards. It sucks when I pull a champ that is ascendable but don't get the ascension material. I've pulled Man-Thing 3 times since ascension has come out but it's been from either a 7star basic pull or not the ascended version in the grace crystal.

Again like I've stated, I've pulled Man-Thing 3 times. I would absolutely love to ascend him but I can't because I don't have 1 single Man-Thing token. I totally get that we get over 100+ crystals a month. I just don't want to have to pray I pull an ascended champion from 2 very very specific crystals. I'm totally fine with the shards and the other duplicate rewards. It just a let down when you pull Man-Thing for a 3rd time and get no ascension material because it wasn't a very specific version of Man-Thing. If that makes any sense?

Ill be surprised if I get another response cause, you know entitlement I guess

As I said before, wait to see what will happen when we ll have class tokens in overflow. We opened hundred of emp. crystals so far, especially after the Collections, but how many ascended champion did we pull 3 times? I for once, I only did ONE, and it was Tech. And my cosmic tokens are close to 50. I purchased token crystals with radiance, after the cosmic for example expire, it would be radiance wasted for nothing.

I m not even mentioning the fact that when our tokens are in overflow, and if by some miracle we have a champion pulled thrice by then of this, same class, we ll be forced to ascend him even we like him or not.

That, yes, it is Not fair.

I see what op means and I agree... I have champs I like that are ascendable, and would love to rank them up, like gentle I have at R4, bpcw and even high Evo at R5. All sig 200, so the investment is there, but I can guarantee I won't be pulling the Ascension on those 3.. I have however got Sam Wilson at a natural sig 200, and patriot.. a little more freedom would be nice, especially as these are rank ups, not new champs. maybe a nexus ascension 7 star crystal here or there.. or even a generic ascension token to be used once as high end content reward for elders.. it's way too random for me. And R&G isn't on my side..

Im sitting on thousands of dust on overflow, and I have way more class tokens than I'll ever use this year.. not a nice feeling.

I do however really like ascension.

I would like to see ascension mats in Sig 200 pulls on titans.. I'm back hoarding titan shards again as sigg 200 pulls ARE USELESS, when you guys promised there is now incentive...

Finally, somebody sees where I'm going with it. It's not like I'm demanding anything at all. I have a natural sig 200 R3 Corvus. But kabam is telling me that if I want him to be level 2 of ascension, I need to duplicate almost 1,100 7stars? Like come on now, that's excessive. I would even say just put in the champ specific tokens for 7stars that we pull from the grace crystal. Doesn't even have to be from the 7 star basic pool.

I've traded my Dust twice already and have 800 that is going to expire because I can't pull specific champ tokens in order to upgrade. It's just frustrating

This might be a dumb or unimplementable idea, but can you guys look into a way for us to pre-load the tier 2 dust into ascendable 7 star champs? I have (when the exchange tokens expire in a few days) like 3,000 dust set to go to overflow and ascending 6* champs makes no sense whatsoever for my account (like, I will if the dust is about to expire, but I won't be happy about it lol).

My last 3 pity empowered crystals have been Sersi. She's already A2. Keep pulling her & couldn't even use the resources if I wanted to. She's not the worst in the pool by any means, but it'd be nice to not have the option until actually usable again

Ascensions aren't directly comparable to pulling a new champ, though. It's more like a rank-up, but you can only only rank them up after you dupe them a certain number of times. We have no control over whether that'll ever happen for any specific champ or class.

The fact that Ascension Tokens are capped without a trade-in method is a problem. It's entirely possible that you can be capped in tokens for a class with no champs that you can ascend, and watch these valuable resources expire in overflow.

It's very similar to the T4C issues from years ago. You guys eventually implemented trade-in crystals for the class catalysts so that players could trade two T4C of one class for a randomized one from another. Could we see something like that?

I totally get what you're saying. It's just frustrating, and we've seen comments, I'm maxed on class tokens but can't use them. Even tho I've pulled ascendable champs numerous times, I can't ascend them because it wasn't the specific crystal. If that makes sense?

That's the whole point of my entire post. Was just to see other people's thoughts about it. Wasn't trying to sound "entitled" or anything like that. There's gotta be something

Yes, seeing kabam compare ascension to new champs is frustrating. Why should I and others accounts be penalised, losing earned resources (class tokens, dust etc), unable to progress with champs we've heavily invested in and enjoy, because of R&G.. I want to take my ranked up champs forward, I've earned the rewards and resources to get them to R4 or 5, but I'm now stuck because I can't pull them from a crystal again... At least, add some way of selecting one via a challenge or something, rewarding us a generic token, like maybe one generic token per 100% eq completion.. it would be slow, but at least we can have a plan in place and be able to work towards a taking a champ we actually want to take forward, forward.. my mini account completely f2p has bpcw, gentle and high Evo, all unduped but ascended... They're the champs I'm dying to get, but can't on my actual 11 year account.And all from free crystals as I've not done any content with this account for months..

I'm not even opening those ascension token crystals unless I absolutely need to. There's no limit on the number of crystals you can hold onto, so I'd rather have them pile up in my crystal stash than lose out on them because they expired in overflow.

Having a maxed out 6 star version of a champion doesn't mean you're entitled to or deserve the 7 star when it comes out, this is no
