And “technically” the Mail says “HAVE ADDED” as in have ALREADY added, the 6 points.

And then afterwards, Press to Claim the (word says “correction”, but could easily be construed as “compensation” or whatever) but it is only showing 50 gold as what will be claimed. So like (claim here to get the 50 gold as our “sorry”)

(Yes, the Announcement posts and such said we would have to claim the gold to get the points. But the Mail does not directly say that)

They told people on Twitch that you would get the max rewards if you hit Rank 15 in every collective. When the feature launched, it turned out that rank 1 did not count and you needed to hit rank 16 instead. This fix is just aligning the objectives with the announcement.

If you already hit the 90 point objective by nature of having a swol roster, then you already received everything they promised on Twitch.

Yeah, breaking it down literally, the message is actually pretty poorly written and visually misleading. That is why people got confused.

Here is what Kabam wrote:

“The tracking for Collective Rank Solo Objectives was misaligned with the Ranks represented on your roster.”

Translation:
The game was counting ranks incorrectly for the Collective objectives.

Then they say:

“To adjust for this miscalculation we have added 6x Solo Objective points…”

Literal interpretation:
They ALREADY added 6 objective points directly to your account progression.

That wording implies:
The compensation already happened automatically
Nothing else needs to be claimed for the points themselves

BUT THEN…

They immediately say:

“Tap below to claim your correction now.”

And this is where the confusion starts.

Because now the player naturally assumes:
The thing below IS the correction
The reward shown visually is connected to the correction
Pressing CLAIM gives you the actual compensation

Then below that is:
A reward icon
A quantity of “50”

And nowhere in the message does it explain:
what the “50” is
why it exists
whether it is related to the 6 points
whether it is just placeholder currency
whether it is actual gold
whether it is objective tokens

So visually, the message contradicts itself.

The mail says:
“We already added 6 points.”

But the UI presentation says:
“Claim your compensation reward below.”

Those are two different things.

That is why players interpreted it as:
6 points PLUS some reward
or
the 50 icon representing the compensation

The reason people were confused is because in almost every mobile game ever:
a CLAIM button with an icon underneath usually means the item shown is the compensation reward.

Kabam basically mixed:

an automatic backend correction
with
a standard reward claim mail template

…without properly explaining either one.

So no, the original poster was not “illiterate.” The post itself is objectively confusing from a UI and wording standpoint. Even experienced players had to go to the forums to figure out what Kabam actually meant.

Some of the replies in here are honestly more concerning than the original confusion.

A person read an in game message literally, the same way many other players clearly did. Not everyone watches every Twitch stream, follows every forum post, or studies the background context behind every Kabam correction. Some people just log in, read the mail they were given, and interpret it based on what is actually written on the screen.

The message itself was vague and visually misleading. That is why multiple players were confused by it.

People acting like someone is “illiterate” because they interpreted a poorly worded mobile game message differently is wild. The internet really gives some people way too much confidence to belittle strangers over absolutely nothing.

But it is weird that there is nothing official what so ever. This morning I noticed that it was 7 days, and then it reverted back to 23 hours, and then now it is 7 days, not sure whether this is intentional or bugged.

you DON'T get extra Collective Ranks (nothing different in the Collectives Screens).

What you got was 6 more points toward OBJECTIVES (from having Collective Ranks).

THANK YOU! I was reading these posts and getting so confused and finally i understood what is going on.

So Kabam has given me 6 points and brought me to 88/90. Because my tech roster was lacking, I need to now rank up tech twice and get those two points. I kept looking at collective page expecting the ranking button to unlock. Must have restarted twice.

Kabam has really mucked up the communications on collectives. So many people have messed up not knowing what to do.

@Ansh_A , you don't necessarily need to Rankup Tech class twice (that's my lesser class too, btw)

But ANY 2 classes. They don't all have to be 15, you can get Tech to 14 if you have another class you can get up to 16 (assuming rest are 15).

And look to see where some of your lesser star “Captains” are at, that can not be pulled normally (banquet prize champs like Kang / Thanos, or special purchase Vision, Sigil Witch, etc. if they are not Rank 4 yet)
