I’m not surprised. I’ve seen Kabam peddle some bad deals before now but this one was horrible. The drop rates on those crystals were just nasty and the milestones didnt seem to offer any value for money at all. At least not enough to persuade me to part with either cash or units.

also I hate the elder crystals, opened 50 of them got only 6* champs are 7* SHARDS

I lucked out on my freebie crystals. A couple of 2-3 gems, a 1-2 gem and A2 vision Aarkus. I’m not pushing my luck any further than that.

Well the realm event isn’t tied to spending or crystal opening so I’m not sure what you’re expecting there

But it is weird that there is nothing official what so ever. This morning I noticed that it was 7 days, and then it reverted back to 23 hours, and then now it is 7 days, not sure whether this is intentional or bugged.

Most of the value was in the completely free realm event and with just 600 units spent not counting free crystals to get 3 pulls on the box

the crystal value was pretty trash. the solo event was very disappointing. I maxed out HoF last year and have regrets hitting 290 points this year.

Im at 290 also. I got a boatload of rank 2s, a bunch of r3s, a few r4s, an r5, every champ from the box up at a1.

Personally not bad for the amount spent but too costly still imo.

I got 1 ascension from all the crystals. a couple 2-3 gems. I dont think it was worth the cost personally. RNG is always garbage compared to guaranteed value for me. Left a bad taste in my mouth.

Honestly for the realm event it would have been nice in addition to the shards some Gold and ISO, but maybe that is only me that would like that added to those stretch milestones.

I think the event really should have ended at 250 max and they should have condensed all the rewards into that structure.

I dont think kabam accounted for not having a dark phoenix level chase here to push people into spending 40k units.

Ascension doesnt have the same hype or value as last year's heart of fire and they thought they could get away with keeping the exact same cost structure. Huge miss imo and that's exactly why I think we're seeing so many negative responses to this event.

They changed everything about it except how much it cost

I agree. maybe reduced the 4-5 gems to just one which is fine, but other than the key and the r5 gem, the rest of the rewards are redundant. I feel like they wanted to incentivize a2 ascensions for the small minority which i believe they were successful in, but for the larger majority this was not worth the cost.
