A huge and very annoying flaw with 7* ascension we need a solution for

As if there aren't enough flaws with this new ascension system already, this one is a big irritant....

Kabam, we need some kind of trade-in system for ascension tokens or other ways to get them, because half the champions I have tokens for I will NEVER voluntarily ascend, half the ascended champions I currently have I NEVER would have ascended, and I currently have over 2,100 T2 dust just waiting to expire in overflow because I can't freaking use it.
This ascension system sucks; it takes all the agency out of our hands and leaves it entirely to chance. The the 6 star ascension system was MILES better than this garbage; at least with that system we could choose who we wanted to ascend from our rosters, and not be forced to watch valuable resources rot away in overflow.

REMOVING The cap on dust storage would be a good thing.

It would give kabam time to rethink ascension while not harming players and discouraging playing game

YOu can always use spare dust on 6*. Thats kabams intent. Theres times where you can only use 6* so its fine. We get plenty of dust. The tokens though I agree to an extent. But I also see them no differently as I do sig stones. At the end of the day, the ascension pool will get bigger and you'll be able to ascend alot of champs you probably want to. Atm though, this really is no different than when we got 6 or 7* added.

I don’t mind spending dust on 6* champs. If that’s what they had intended from the beginning and stuck to it I’d have been fine with that.

That’s not how it played out though. The whales and CCP were first affected and kicked up a stink so Kabam put in an emergency plan so they could hold their dust long enough to start getting their A2 ascensions and then spend it.

Now it’s affecting the next wave to come through and all we’re getting is radio silence. Nothing, nada, zilch. The messaging it’s sending out to everyone else is ‘You don’t have YouTube channels and don’t spend enough money so we’re not interested.’

Nothing like taking your customer base for granted.

Im not a champion of anything. I do however, know that when you have too much of something, its perfectly fine to let the extra expired or sell it or use it on a lower rarity. Kind of the purpose in these kinds of games. Most of yall seem to have forgotten that.

for me, using t2 dust on 6* is not an option anymore. I have 52 ascended 6*. Even with half of them, I don’t play anymore.

I thought there was the option to store 2,000 dust at a time in tokens which could be redeemed at a later date. I redeemed one somewhat recently, but now I can’t find that exchange in game anymore. It wasn’t a perfect solution, but it worked. I’m confused as to why that’s no longer available (or maybe I’m just missing it, that’s literally always an option)

This is all I got to work with at the moment. Other champs are going to stay at 1 token becuase of thier design.

After 8 days, ill bite the bullet and do this just for collectives sake, he gon stay r1 tho. I a2 lizard for same reason, overflowing t2 dust and helps with collectives. Remaining 700 will go into 6*s. I haven't done eq so some is in there too.

They calculated precisely lmao. This auto converted token dust will not go into next month, even for 1 day. "Rewards budget".

The RNG aspect of ascension is so overwhelmingly frustrating. I've had enough Lizard tokens to A2 him from the start, but not the science tokens. I started today with 9 science tokens and after opening 25 class tokens I still have 9 science. I somehow got multiple of every other class today and now I have at least 10 tokens in every class except science smh.

Meh screw the dust and its value, they put it as tewards to boost their sales on this trash ascension event. After this sale is gone it will balance out somehow. Don't stress or fall for something they had planned out. The few days difference and the reason why they allowed the trade was just because they weren't expecting players to finish the challenges as fast as they did.

Remember when they used to sell that dust in as deals for 49.99 rofl?

To put it bluntly, spenders are affected so they had to give them an extension. It would be terrible business not to. And since the rest of us aren't spending, we're basically window shoppers and we have no standing so what service could they possibly give us?

If you think 6*s are worthless and only care about 7* ascension, then you shouldn't care if 2000+ dust expires, because at the moment you can only put them into 6*s and they're worthless anyway, right?

Edit: In an earlier post I was frustrated that my dust was expiring, but I made Kabam know that I wasn't going chase this event and I'm fine if dust expires because it wasn't meant for non-spenders anyway.
