Battle Grounds the punishment continues…..

Well another season of Battle Grounds is over and it seems Kabam is determined to ramp up the punishment on those of us who didn’t want to play. Despite the last piece of Stellar forged Blade being released now over four weeks ago there is still no sign of the selector in the store. Having the final piece of Stellar forged Blade as a Battle Grounds reward was always going to to be a shameless attempt to force us to play a game mode that not all players enjoy or want to participate in just like it was with Stellar Star Lord. Even not allowing players the selector for the final piece until BG’s had finished was understandable as people willing to jump though Kabams hoops always get the new champs before anyone else. But how long are the people who didn’t play BG’s going to have to wait before all our hard work earning the other pieces is going to be allowed to pay off?

I barely have like half a deck of usable ascended champions but most of them are under-ranked

Pretty sure the selectors only show up once all avenues of earning the pieces are gone. There is still a piece available in the Apex Coliseum right now

1 day of new Off Season and we already have one crying over it.

Pressure on Kabam started again.

Accept the Season 39 meta/rules and get good at the game.

When you read the meta and choose your water/stone tagged champions you will suffer less if you have skill issue

Dont blame on BG if you cant do the minimum to win

And im annoyed I dont have a stupid 2* symboid thing from that dumb event because its the only champ i dont have at any rarity and there is no way to get one.

Are you new to battlegrounds? Pausing the fight guarantees full health for the attacker by the end of each fight in BG, which gives 15000 points. They wouldn't gain any points for defender health remaining (which is a max of 30000 points), since the defender is unharmed.

Some players use pause as a dirty trick to win BG fights, hoping the opponent screws up their fight badly by getting knocked out with more than half of the defender health remaining.

This is the simplest example but players do use pause in a variety of ways. Some people would fight normally for some time, land few hits and get defender health down but hit pause when they are getting wrecked by the defender. This won't always succeed. In fact, it wouldnt work much in high tier Victory track and Gladiator circuit.

Kabam did a small experiment in the previous BG season by not awarding any points for attacker health remaining, but it's coming back again this upcoming season.
