On the Hit Monkey boss, you have to Punish Specials and Heavys to gain charges...

But there's a timing issue with his Sp1 punish it doesn't count as a punish at all, so people have to punish his heavy's just to build charge.

That's on the left side, last fight before Sandman.

I'm also having issues with this. Despite punishing his Sp1 multiple times, I'm not getting any charges. The heavy punish works for charges but isn't as sustainable since it leads to taking big block damage.

The window for punishing sp1 is so little because we have to dex twice…not a bug afaik
