Is Kabam doing anything for those who missed blade pieces? (I’m not talking about buying selectors)
I want to start off by saying I think Kabam has been doing a great job with listening to feedback & responding. Even compensating when they feel necessary, which is why I am surprised I haven’t heard anything conclusive as I believe this is one of those moments where compensation would be appropriate.
Before a bunch of you jump in the comments with “great, another whiner that wants to be compensated for breathing”… keep in mind, Kabam has shifted the status quo for the chase on this champ. See below:
- 9.4 completion - With consideration that 3/4 deathless chase champs still have pieces up for grabs for clearing specific content, I have a really hard time understanding why this was a timed objective & not a perm reward placed in the act completion rewards. This would solve a huge issue for anyone who wasn’t caught up on act 9 going into the chase for SF blade & also give latecomers/returning players the ability to make up few piece for themselves.
- I was also quite surprised this round that we were not given 1 of the pieces direct to our inbox. They gave us the first 6&7* piece for all the deathless champs as well as SF Starlord. With us now manually chasing an extra piece, one would think we should get extra time to do so, but this chase felt quite the opposite.
- The BGs season was adjusted to perform very differently from past seasons. I understand they want to experiment & breathe some new life into the game mode, but if the result is people mad that they couldn’t get this piece, then I don’t think there’s even an argument for this… compensation is definitely warranted for this piece.
Well, I don’t like complaining about stuff & not offering solutions. So this would be my feedback on a fair way to compensate for these issues.
- Put the piece awarded for the 9.4 completion objective into the permanent act rewards. I hardly consider this compensation mind you, as everyone still has to do what was originally expected of us all, just with no timer.
- Give out the BGs piece to all those who participated in BGs last season OR place it in the next season again to give us another chance to obtain it (perhaps with some victory shields to help compensate for items used last season)
- Just give us the freebie piece we normally would get had this not been changed. It would likely have to be a selector at this stage as there is no way to delegate which piece would be considered the freebie after the fact.
