Towers rewards are awful and lacking

So when i watched the stream, i could see 7* champ resources, such as gems, sigs and catalyst yet i havent seen a single one, nor have i seen any gold in the rewards besides when i first clicked on it. Why are the rewards so awful? Im at block 70?. Also why is the time limit for keys 5 days? Whats the point? Theres bugs making keys disappear and when finishing fights the keys arent being rewarded?

I've made it to 85 in the skill tower and the rewards are just barely starting to become worth having, but still are far from worth earning.

I agree. The Stream made it sound like this was going to be the place to go for T5A - apart from the measly amount in the Saga version, I don't see where the T5A is coming from??
I was really hoping this would help me farm the last cat I need to be Elder, but have been severely disappointed and let down by the hype.

Just curious, what rewards you expected or wanted ?

Dont forget the Radiance you get once it ends, even 25%-50% brackets gets good amount of Radiance.

Add to this amount the monthly amount from AW Season + BGs and you can easily obtain 100k radiance per month.

The stream never showed any rewards that are worthwhile. Mike did Block 65 on the stream and it showed T4C and some 7* shards.

i expected resources for 7*’s such as sigs, rank up gems thing along that line as i swear they showed snippets of them in the streams. I’ll agree that the radiance is a really good part but thats about it.

Theres literally Rank 1>2>3 gems per class for 7-stars on floors 80 +
Below floor 80 you get rank up gems for 6 star versions

you get sig stones and awakening gem shards from side objectives and milestones…

I think a huge issue is that there is no way to see what's ahead of you. Right now it feels as if I'm mostly getting 5 and 6*-level rewards around Block 65, which feels kinda eh as Elder. Without knowing what's up ahead, it's really hard to know if it's worth pushing. I assume that there'll be a point where the fights get more challenging and the rewards get better, but right now it feels as if I'm just slogging through super easy fights for minimal rewards.

I believe its intentional, and I like it. This way people can't see what "they are supposed to be getting" and can't complain about not reaching it and missing out.

Its a mode to work looking foward to. If you get your rank up mats on day 1... It would become useless immediately.

Can anyone do the math and tell me how many floors or blocks I will have to clear to hit that final milestone at 35000 points.

I am currently at 8000 some points which can rounded up to 9000.

I have done the math on my end but want to see if I am correct. Can someone break it down for me?

The grind will be a lot less than u think for warlock, because for the other 4 class towers u will skip something like 60 floors again for each, so thats 240 less things to do

If you don't lose, you won't need keys. If the tower becomes too hard, you've reached your limit.

Unless you're dying on lower level towers in which case the joke's on you.

What Challenge Rating are those defenders at in tower 85?

I feel like I've already hit a wall at 74, because they all have a Challenge Rating of 240 - I only have a single champ who's above 240, and that's my Rank 4 Zemo and it's only cause he's Ascended.

This really feels like where RNG has such a heavy hand in the early eras of Towers because of how much Ascension gives you a challenge rating boost and it's entirely something you have absolutely no control over.

Well, good news, you can still do it with champs whose CR is ar 220-230. Just make sure they have really good DoTs and you know how to play the champ well.

Well since I can't see myself, Im just looking for perspective. I'm not "worrying" specifically about that level, just trying to see where I stand.

It feels like I'm tapped out already, having only 9 champs who are Rank 5, 4 or 3 in Skill. Rather than take more up to Rank 4, I'm thinking I need to take more up to Rank 3 to even get past the next hurdle.

Just sayin, you might be giving up too easily. You absolutely can fight through a CR deficit.

I’m currently fighting my way through block 81. It’s certainly getting tough, but I don’t feel like I’ve quite hit my ceiling yet.

I also only had 9 Skill champs at r3 or higher, none at r5. And allow me to show you that I’m not working with the cream of the crop either.

(There’s 10 in the screenshot, but I only took Lumatrix to r3 literally a few hours ago, they’ve been at r2 for basically my entire climb).

You’ll have to start optimizing things if you’re fighting at 20-30 CR lower, but it’s certainly doable. You will absolutely need Recoil Masteries to start making up the difference though, perhaps that’s where you’re struggling.

I have my Mastery with Glass Cannon 3/3, but I do not have any of the Recoil masteries currently.

Some of the deficits are pretty bad. Like my Korg, he's even ascended so he has 15 points higher challenger rating, but he's still an absolute garbage option as an attacker because I canNOT chip away enough at any defenders with him when he's at even just a -10 deficit.

I haven't given up I just literally have no option because I have no 'energy' left to try lol.

The main reward from Tower is Radiance. At some point you'll hit a roadblock, and clearing the next block could take months depending on your roster. Once you reach that stage, there's really no need to worry about Tower rewards.

That said, the block-clearing rewards are still pretty generous considering Tower fights are only one minute long.
