How long can you stay in story quest?

I know this might sound like a silly question but how long can you stay in a story quest?

I'm on collector fight and out of resources, don't want to quit as I've already spent a lot of units on that quest.

He's got 50k health left but I know I'll need time to gind arena for units

you stay in until you leave or quit out. you can't use those champs in AQ, AW (unless placed already and before the start) or in any other quests. You can use them in Arena.

Thanks I was about to buy a tony stark briefcase thinking it might end the quest if I don't do anything. I have back up team for AQ
