Game not using wifi

I can play game using cellular data but not WiFi. WiFi is working. I switched phone to where certain apps won’t function without it WiFi. Is there something wrong with app?

    Thank you. But my phone is connecting other apps via WiFi. Doesn’t make sense that this one app isn’t connecting except through cellular data.
