Should newer player save for blade crystal or buy 10k?

I currently have 14 four star champs (stark Spider-Man, SL duped, hulk, crossbones and Hawkeye as the better ones) and one five star champ (Elektra). I'm still in the intermediate bracket for a few more weeks. I just reached 12k five star shards and am wondering if I should open it now or wait until February for the blade crystal. In all likelihood I'd only be able to save up for one of those crystals.

If you're going to save for anything, Blade is the one to do it for.

However, I tend to have the viewpoint, at your level, more 5* are more worth it.

A newer player should not spend 15k on a 5* champ! My opinion
You need to focus on your roster first, those 5* champs are great for arenas!
Plus you have a better pool of 5* champs, no need to gamble the extra 5k shared!

Blade will help you advance quicker and is definitely worth the risk imo.

Plenty of great champs in the regular crystal right now that will help you advance. Saving for blade is a giant waste of 5k shards.

At ur level, you would probably pull a 5* already in the basic 10k crystal.

Either way you're only going to be able to open 1 crystal (10k or 15k). If you're opening only 1 in the near future, I think I'd rather open with that has a higher chance at one of the best players in the game.

I think I'd go for the featured in your situation.

I would open because the chances of actually pulling Blade are slim and if you spend 15k for a crappy champ you will regret it.

Most people will say open basics, but Blade is so good that he gets an exception. In your case, I would definitely save til his crystal comes feb 22. If you get him you’re golden. If you miss then it was still worth the chance

When I first started I saved and went for a featured 5 star first and pulled an amazing Howard the Duck. I didn't touch featured for a long long time after that ... build up your roster of 5* first, then focus on featured.

I am not a big believer in pinning all your hopes and a bunch of effort toward a single champ. Generally it leads to disappointment and frustration. For one thing, the top champ today will be replaced tomorrow. For another it is a gamble. Likely as not you will miss him when you spin and feel like **** afterwards. He gets added in Feb so wait and hope he pops from a regular 4star crystal.

Thanks for the advice everyone. I got kind of lucky - I opened up a 10k crystal and pulled s five star Gwen pool. Maybe not as good as blade, but better than the IP or LC I expected

Grats! I pulled Luke Cage as my first so it is good to know there are people who pull God Tier first go (at least someone is winning

Also you sound way too calm... you got one of the top 5 in the game so you should be almost as happy as if it were Blade. I have yet to get a single god tier 4 or 5* and I am lvl 45 with 20 4*s and 2 5*s (and I have 11,000 shards now but saving for Blade as my account is so **** I kinda need him).

pop that crystal..plenty of people have gotten "screwed" by saving for featured crystal..pop the basic and you only 5k from another basic crystal
