What happen to items in act 4?

I am exploring act 4 on a second account currently and holy cow did they reduce potions, revives, energy refills, etc. over the last 2 days I ran 4 paths in 4.4.6 and 4 in 4.4.5 and not a single revive, probably 2 to 3 750 health pots and 1 small energy.

It was not like this when I originally played this content on first account.

To be fair, it is much easier than it was as well. It just strikes me how empty the maps are as I look for any opportunity to farm
