Buying units?

Is it hard to get good champs at this game without buying units? If so, what holiday offers are worth it?

How long have you been playing the game? It will be hard to get a really good roster if you've been playing for less than 6 months. Buying units will help you get champs sooner than later but remember they're no guarantee. I spend money on this game but never on units to buy champs. I'd rather wait for actual 3* 4* or 5* offers where you are guaranteed to get a 3* 4* 5*. But if you're buying units to spend on premium hero crystals or even grandmaster crystals (when you become Uncollected after completing Act 5.2) it's totally not worth it. The odds of getting a 4* or 5* is just dismal.

If you have the time then grind in the arena. Join an active alliance that participates in at least 2 BGs in AW.

Don't waste money on an extremely low chance of getting 4*s and 5*s.

There are usually unit offers that come around every month or so. Those would be the best time to buy them because you're getting something along with the units you're paying for.

Good luck and keep that $$$ for better deals. Don't waste your money.
