New War Concerns - Awareness Thread

The new seasons mode looks great, rewards are juiced up and Kabam are delivering the resources we’ve been asking for. That’s the good part. Now the bad...

Kabam need to ensure that this mode is fair. And they need to monitor it. Piloting in war is as common as ever. Matchmaking as rigged as ever with alliances purposefully avoiding each other. These problems mean that the distribution of the most prestigious rewards in game will not be fairly distributed. This is exploiting the game and should be punishable.

Please keep this thread alive so we can report it and a response from Kabam to acknowledge these concerns will be appreciated. Keep it constructive.

It basically makes running 3 BGs a must. That is a good thing. Previously some top alliances only did 1 or 2 BGs.

Also with regards to the rigging of the matchmaking remember the schedule covered 2 days so the alliances at the end of the list were missing out on 1 extra war per week. Skipping a war would be detrimental under the seasons approach.

Really not much to say the top alliances will spend to reap the top rewards. Kabam earns more money which is the main goal. The rich will get richer while everyone else will be stagnant.

Not necessarily. If Kabam fix piloting and matchmaking then top alliances will need to consider whether they can keep their top prestige guys if they don’t have the skill. I’ve seen it first hand, multiple times, alliances telling their guys not to login as they need to be piloted for a must win war. This mode is going to have the most valuable rewards, the new war system is great in terms of scoring too so the community deserve to have a fair playing field.

Piloting is not an issue in my opinion.

However, how is matchmaking an issue under the proposed changes? Alliances can’t avoid each other.

    Hey There!

I am gonna close this thread down, because I want to keep all conversations about AW Seasons in the Discussion thread, but first, I think I can touch on what you're talking about here.

First, I want to remind everybody that Account Sharing is against the Terms of Service, and can result in a ban in game. This is not in the spirit of The Contest, and is not cool.

As for the Matchmaking, the best strategy to ensure you get the most points you can is to start Matchmaking with 3 Battlegroups as soon as you can. You'll also want to ensure that you're facing off against the strongest Opponents you can manage to beat, in order to keep your War Rating high!

If you have any more questions about this stuff, please let us know in the discussion thread!
