Why Carnage out trashes all other trash.

First, let's take a look at the other trash tier champs:

Kamala Kahn - The living meme. Yes, she is widely considered the bottom of the barrel, but I'm not so sure. She has a few things going for her. Poison immunity... infinite stacks of fury. Admittedly, it's not much... but it's something.

Spider-Gwen - Yes, she's bad, but she's not the worst. Her evasion, heavy and crit chance can be used effectively.

Luke Cage - He will permanently be moving away from the trash can tomorrow with his new buff.

She-Hulk - poison immunity and semi reliable stuns

Iron Patriot - armor up, stun, armor break, heal

Hulkbuster - armor up, armor break, large health pool

Colossus - armor up, bleed immune, damage increase

Joe Fixit - reliable bleed and stun, poison immune, chance for heal

And now Carnage... what does he have going for him? Really cool animations.

Why is he the worst?

1) small health pool
2) low armor
3) can be bled and poisoned
4) bleeds are weak and short
5) mutation mechanic is awful
(A) it requires a special to activate it
(B) defensive mutations require you to take damage
(C) it takes too long to actually get max mutations
(D) max mutations do little to put him on par damage-wise with other champs that require no effort
6) his synergies are pretty bad
7) he was a huge let down because of the hype that was put into him by the community

Carnage is just all around bad. Bad, bad, bad.

All the other trash has some redeeming qualities. Carnage has none.

Carnage damage gets pretty high if built right, though it does take too long and isn’t applicable in competitive fights. His Venom synergy is useful, but once again not effective the vast majority of the time.

He needs some love, hopefully he’s in the next beta round because that program seems promising.

Help me out guys,

Every character used to have something called a champion spotlight on the old forum.

Have they stopped doing those or are they hidden somewhere that is impossible to find? Normally there is a bunch of stuff on youtube as well but I don't watch any of it so I'm not sure how useful those guys are when it comes to offering advice.

Just trying to work out why certain champs that everyone wanted and seemed to get ended up being so terrible, lack of information prior to release is the only reason I can find for that since the stats and abilities page plus feedback from others should normally provide enough of a clue as to whether buying/grinding is worth it.

His damage CAN get high, but it won’t because you’ll probably lose the match before then because of how often you parried mixed with his low block proficiency and health and well...every stat. Slightly more health than Spidey, slightly more damage than Luke Cage until the update.
