I haven't heard that officially, but I wouldn't doubt it. It may be a Cosmic Spidey.

I am not doubting you, I am simply stating I haven't heard anything official.
If it is Cosmic Spidey, I wouldn't expect more than 2-2.5 mil. He is an old champ. He is much like classic Spidey, save is evade has a timer that only activates after a special. The base % is higher than classic. However, he is an older champs and most have him already. I have him unduped and would only grind one of the arenas if he was offered.
Here is the Arena cutoff history. I would look at the different champs and their respected cutoffs. There are multiple tabs and one for Basic champs. You can gauge by age and popularity as to what to expect to have to put up in future arenas.

So, after that, we will see Gwenpool as basic, and a new champion as featured. That way the cut-offs will decrease
