Karnak´s Focus not working against Symbiote Spiderman

So im doing the Master Mode of Secret Empire Forever.
For some annoying Spiderman-Fights i brought along my 4* 5/50 Karnak.
When i use my L1 Special against a Spiderman Symbiote with the Evasion buff, it does not stop him from evading...
Is this intended?
