I feel like all these resources need to be bumped up by like 100% for the cap in our inventory so instead of 6 T3 class cats we can hoard 12 instead

Raising the cap would certainly be welcome. So would removing the expiration timer from the excess inventory like it used to be.

Since neither are likely to happen, you have to be smart about the way you go about things. Stockpile crystals that give you items you currently have in excess. Got too many t3 cat cats? Start holding onto your t3 cat crystals, t3 cat frag crystals, and Map 1 or Map 2 crystals. Then only open them when have space in your regular inventory.

Same goes for your health pots. If you have too many L1 pots or revives, start holding the free crystals you get every 4 hours. Save them up until you need the items to clear difficult content, then open them.

The downside is that your ally takes a little bit of a hit with your weekly SA scores because holding crystals = less points for SA, but unless your team is just barely hitting rank rewards each week, then it shouldn't have much of an impact.
