What if Spider-Gwen had a sp1 that dealt damage?

I think if they just changed that sp1 to be similar to another spider character, she would actually be a solid champ. Simple and easy change.

People have been saying this for years and Kabam just doesn't seem to care. She is a unique champion and apparently that is all they are concerned with. Even if what makes her unique is also what makes her a bad champion.

I will agree that having an L1 that does no Damage is annoying, but I think she doesn't get enough credit in general. I can do some fair Damage with her. A Special 1 isn't all there is to a Champ. Stack a few Armor Breaks and fire an L2 or L3.

My problem with her is her secondary mode being useless.

They need to make it worth swapping modes.

Similar to Beast where one mode could be used in different situations.

She needs a bit more utility.

They also need to fix parry’s interaction with auto evade to make evade champs more desirable attackers. But that’s a different issue...
